Have you met Lark? It’s new!
Lark is clinically proven to help you lose weight and reduce your risk of type 2 diabetes. The Lark program is included at no extra cost to you as a benefit of your Anthem health plan. If you qualify, you’ll also get a digital scale with the opportunity to earn a Fitbit®.
How common are diabetes and prediabetes? More than 133 million Americans have diabetes or prediabetes.
Diabetes raises the risk for damage to the eyes, kidneys, nerves, and heart. Diabetes is also linked to some types of cancer. Taking steps to prevent or manage diabetes may lower your risk of developing diabetes health problems.
Lark’s program involves education and support for healthy lifestyle changes through your Lark Health Coach using your smartphone. With it, you could lower your risk for type 2 diabetes and feel healthier than ever!
Visit the Lark webpage at the ACSCOG benefits website to learn more and check if you’re eligible. You must use the special link on that webpage to enroll at no cost.
Eligibility requirements for the Lark Diabetes Prevention Program include qualifying as prediabetic according to a survey designed by the Centers for Disease Control and membership in the ACSCOG Anthem health plan.
